ZooSnap Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of how ZooSnap handles age classification, saved game progress, advertising, and privacy choices.

Overview

Privacy at a glance

ZooSnap is a mobile game published by Cincai Studio. You can play without creating an account or sending us your name, birth date, email address, or precise location. The game uses a neutral age screen to select the appropriate privacy and advertising route.

Your birth date is not stored. It is evaluated on your device and immediately discarded. Only the resulting Adult or Minor classification is saved locally.

Age classification

How the neutral age screen works

On first use, ZooSnap asks for a day, month, and year of birth. The game checks that date locally to determine whether the player is under 18 or 18 and older. The entered date and calculated age are not written to storage, sent to Cincai Studio, or used for a user profile.

The locally saved classification can be cleared from the game’s privacy settings by choosing Change Age Choice.

On-device storage

Game data saved locally

ZooSnap stores limited information on the device so the game can work:

  • Adult or Minor audience classification;
  • game progress, highest level, and ability charges;
  • music and sound-effect preferences; and
  • a resolved-round count used to control interstitial frequency.

Cincai Studio does not provide a cloud account for this data. It normally remains until it is reset in the game, the app’s data is cleared in Android settings, or the app is uninstalled.

Advertising

Google Mobile Ads and UMP

ZooSnap uses Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads and an interstitial at natural game breaks. Google’s SDK may automatically collect and share information such as IP address (which may estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that this SDK data is encrypted in transit.

See Google’s official Mobile Ads data disclosure, Privacy Policy, and advertising technologies information.

Minor route

Child-directed advertising

ZooSnap marks ad requests as child-directed and under the age of consent, restricts ad content to rating G, and requests a non-personalized experience. If privacy setup fails or the age choice is unknown, the game does not initialize or request ads.

Adult route

Consent-managed advertising

For adults, ad content is limited to rating PG. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used where required to request or manage consent before ads are initialized. Personalization depends on the player’s choices and applicable requirements.

Privacy controls

Your choices

  • Privacy Choices: adults can reopen Google’s privacy-options form from Settings when available.
  • Change Age Choice: clears the saved classification and resets the consent flow.
  • Optional rewarded ads: declining or being unable to view an ad does not grant the reward.
  • Android controls: advertising identifiers can be reset or deleted using device settings where supported.

Retention and deletion

How long information is kept

Local game data remains on the device as described above. To remove it, use the in-game reset where offered, clear ZooSnap’s app data, or uninstall the app. Data handled by Google is retained under Google’s own policies and controls. Cincai Studio cannot directly identify or delete Google-held advertising data for an anonymous player, but we will help explain available controls if contacted.

Security and processing

Security and international processing

We limit our own storage to the local game values needed to operate ZooSnap. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Google and its service providers may process advertising information in countries other than the player’s country, subject to their published safeguards and policies.
